Idaho Livestock Stock Saved From Drought Losses
Idaho farm bureaus and the extension division say at least 480000 sheep and 49500 cattle remained in state breeding stock after last spring's drought. The report notes stock moved to other states, losses of 10 percent sheep and 11 percent cattle, and ongoing efforts to manage range land and cooperative forage for future stability.

Court Reverses Twin Falls Canal Co Meeting Date
Supreme Court of Idaho last week ruled against the Twin Falls Canal Co in a long litigation begun by J. A. Crom and others. The decision nullifies amendments changing annual meeting from January to December and removes the secretary and treasurer from the board. The corporation must revert to the former meeting date and governance structure, with the injunction on three directors upheld.
