Cousin William Nissen Electrocuted Near Hailey
Mrs. Frank Wilks learned last week that her cousin William Nissen of Gannett near Hailey was electrocuted Tuesday while helping move a derrick at the R Price ranch in the Wood River Valley. The derrick arm contacted a hydroelectric line from Gannett to the ranch and Nissen, 22, grasped the lowering chain and died instantly. He was a native of Ganbelt and survived by his parents, seven brothers, three sisters. Funeral services were held at the Hailey Opera House Thursday with a large turnout of mourners.
