John G Lin dauer died Tuesday evening at 7 15 after a three year illness with tuberculosis He was born near St Henry on the Joe Lindauer farm and would have turned 66 the next day He married Caroline Boehm 31 years ago and they had seven children He was a brick and stone mason musician and member of several local societies Interment was at St Ferdinand cemetery after a requiem mass with his family mourning the loss

Amputation After Farm Accident On Corn Shredder
John Weyer suffered a severe hand injury while husking corn at Joe Schipp’s farm when his right hand was caught in a corn shredder. Surgeons Dr. Schriefer and Dr. Kinney of Huntingburg performed the operation to amputate the limb.

Tragic Pedestrian Death: Boy Killed by Auto in Dale
Arsenius Grundhofer nine year old son of Lawrence Grundhofer of Dale died after being struck in the head by a car driven by Dr. W H Williams. The boy ran into the street while playing with others and tried to catch a fly ball when the vehicle passed. Eyewitnesses say the accident was unavoidable and the boy died shortly after at the scene.
