Young Man Vincent Daunhauer Drowns in Ohio River

The body of 22 year old Vincent Daunhauer was found in the Ohio River ten miles below Mount Vernon. The Mt. Vernon coroner ruled out foul play and said drowning was probable though the exact entry point is unknown. He had recently worked as a butter maker in Louisville and was buried at Mariah Hill after the body was brought home.

Receiver Appointed for Ferdinand Electric Light & Power Co

The Huntingburg Bank obtained a court appointment of W. A. Wollenmann as receiver for the Electric Light and Power Co. of Ferdinand on Monday amid charges the firm is insolvent. Aged Lady of Fulda Passes Away

Mrs. Catherine Weaver nee Collignon aged 86 died at her Fulda home Tuesday night from age related illnesses. She leaves five sons John Joseph Jacob Leonard Martin of Owensboro and Fulda and three daughters Mary Landwehr Regina Bittel and Catherine Harm. Survived by 108 grandchildren and great grandchildren. Interment was held at Fulda yesterday morning at eight.
