The Rt. Rev. Bishop D O Donoghue conducted sub deaconship and Confirmation on Friday, followed by Minor Orders and Priesthood on Saturday. Relatives from far and near attended as Rev Francis Roell of Richmond delivered the English sermon and preached the first sermon by a priest not in the Benedictine order. A large crowd enjoyed Hermigild and the Symphony Orchestra. Saturday saw the public sale of the late Joseph Jasper. Local clergy and families moved through ordination ceremonies with support from area residents and hosts at the events.
