Death of George P. Huther in Ferdinand

George P. Huther died at 3 p.m. on a Friday aged nearly 78. Born June 7 1830 in Baden Germany he came to Ferdinand with his wife in 1862 and after brief moves returned to local tailor work until his death. He survived by his wife three children John Peter county clerk William of Evansville and Katie. The News expresses condolences to the bereaved.
