At a June 23 1917 meeting of the Threshermens Organization of Ferdinand thresholds were agreed for threshing sawing corn shredding pea hulls silo cutting and grading. Rates include Wheat 4c per bushel oats 8c barley 3c rye 6c per bushel with minimum 400 kickers for small lots and hourly rates for sawmill work coal water and two workers to be supplied by employers.
