Aged Mrs Bertha Mueller Dies After Fifty Years at St Ferdinand

Mrs Bertha Mueller nee Lochman widow of John B Mueller longtime St Ferdinand church musician died in a Cincinnati hospital from age related complications She was born April 16 1846 in Aadorf Switzerland immigrated 1867 and married in Delaware Ohio 1868 The family included sons Dr Mueller Rev Martin J Mueller and Frank M Mueller who died in infancy Burial took place at St Ferdinand cemetery after a requiem mass Mrs Mueller was active in St Ann's Womens Sodality and church life in Cincinnati RIP

Dorsey Granted Bail in Dubois Circuit Court Case

Otho Dorsey, who filed habeas corpus and faced a preliminary trial in the Dubois circuit court, is released on bail of 22 500 and to appear September 6 in Petersburg. The judge ruled the evidence circumstantial and weak. Dorsey is charged with the murders of Louis E Bement and John Turner Wills.

Giants win in last inning over Tell City All Stars

The Giants defeated the Tell City All Stars 7 5 in the final inning to secure their fourth straight win. Roos and Quante delivered key hits as Muller followed with a clean hit to close the rally, while strong pitching and timely errors kept Tell City at bay. The Tell City Athletics visit next Sunday, with Giants aiming to boost attendance and pep. Mrs. Theodore Dilger formerly Barbara Miller died in Fulda on her 67th birthday after living there since childhood. Survived by sons Albert Cullignan Nick Frank Edward and Frank Winzeler and daughters Mrs Joseph Cullignan and Mrs Frank Winzeler plus sisters and brothers Henry Miller John Miller Mrs Frank Haller Miss Mary Miller and missing Engelbert Dilger who preceded her eight years earlier.
