The Wandering Hearts of Hawkshaw’s Nephew and Lady Arabella
In 1800s London a young Richard Glyn, ward of Admiral Hawkshaw, loves Lady Arabella Stormont while Giles Vernon vies for her favor. A dramatic night at Rochester’s and a satin Petticoat wager lead to rivalry, gambling, and a planned duel with Overton as the stakes. Giles then arranges a meeting near Richmond as Arabella plots Almack’s access, stirring jealousy among the city’s elite.
