Ordinance No 27 drafted by Ferdinand Indiana trustees regulates driving and passing of steam traction engines on town streets and alleys. It requires engines to pull aside for horse carriages, have guards for approaching teams, and restricts whistle use. It mandates hooded smoke stacks, coal firing, and civil penalties up to 25 dollars plus costs, with repeal of conflicting ordinances. Passed July 6 1915.
