Hazel Finds Freedom Then Returns to Roaring Bill
Hazel Weir, a stenographer from Granville, escapes gossip by teaching in Cariboo Meadows BC. After a winter with Roaring Bill Wagstaff, she travels north with a map he gave her, contemplates returning, but ultimately reunites with Bill, agreeing to marry. They plan a new life at Beila Coola and later at their Camp near Pine River Pass.
