Joe Epple attended the funeral of his sister Mies Anne Epple in Huff on Monday. Mrs. Gust Heim and her children from Louisville are visiting Jos. and Mrs. Holtzman. Ongoing rains hinder harvest as threshing machines sit idle. corn and tobacco tolerate the weather. Fulda Orchestra buys a large bass from Rev. Thie of Troy. Gabriel Lampert, about 80, died Thursday morning after a long rheumatic illness. funeral held Saturday at Fulda cemetery.
