Sister M Cosma death obituary notes exemplary life

Sister M Cosma, O B, daughter of Leo and Margaret Simon, born 1885 in Vincennes Indiana, taught in Troy and Tell City. She entered the Convent of the Immaculate Conception Ferdinand, died after a two to three month illness in Tell City. She received Extreme Unction and Holy Communion daily and expired January 20 while in prayer. She leaves her parents two brothers and five sisters.

Robbers entered seven Huntingburg establishments Tuesday night and took some money from each. An eighth attempt failed. Marshal Ed Hawkins of Tell City arrived with his dogs but could only trace them to the depot.

Paul Brockmann Dies at Home Aged 47

Paul Brockmann died at his home near Siberia last Monday at 8 10 pm after a two year illness from tuberculosis. He leaves a wife and six children. Interment will be at 9 30 am today in St Meinrad cemetery. A separate note reports a state inspector condemning a locomotive on the Ferdinand Iyer and a delayed train, with remarks about a shaved conductor and outdated equipment.
