Damages Sought in Dubois Circuit Court Assault Case
Robert Eckstein of Jasper sues blacksmith Robert Eckerle for 3000 dollars alleging a May 31 1914 unprovoked attack with a club that caused head and body injuries. He claims permanent injury including impaired sight headaches and backaches plus three weeks confined at home and 200 dollars in medical costs. He was earning two dollars a day at the time of injury.
