State Game Commissioner Shireman and two nephews traveled to an estate near Lula Mississippi for a deer hunt. A misfire by Mr DeTurk killed Victor Cassidy of Jasper, age 43, who served as deputy sheriff and chief deputy for the Indiana Fish and Game Commission. Funeral services were held with Elks in charge. interment at Fairview cemetery.

Sister M Beatrice Nemer O S B born 1868 Fulda Indiana entered the Convent of the Immaculate Conception Ferdinand Indiana at 14. For 31 years she taught and cared for God's little ones across Schnellville Haubstadt St Johns Ireland and Cannelton. She died December 12 at 8 30 AM after suffering neurasthenia and cirrhosis of the liver. One brother and two sisters mourn her death.

Man Dies in Snow Near Celestine
Henry Schnell, 37, living with his mother about one mile east of Celestine, wandered into deep snow Saturday and did not return. His body was found Sunday midway between the town and his home. exposure and exhaustion after heavy drifts caused his death. Interment was in Celestine cemetery Monday.
