Mrs Joe Schlachter aged 76 died last Friday at seven o clock after three years of asthma. Born Mary Eva Bubbenberg in Bayern Germany she came to the United States at 21 and married twice, first to Henry Durchholz then to Joe Schlachter. She leaves six living children with her husband and 15 in total. Interment was held Monday at St Ferdinand cemetery. funeral wishes expressed.
