The remains of Jacob Brenner were shipped from Fort Sam Houston to St. Anthony Indiana for interment. He served in the cavalry for about 11 years and would have retired at the end of his enlistment. He was the son of Frank Brenner. No cause of death has been received. The community offers sympathy to the family.
