Electric pens pasture sheep with moving field device
An inventor from Lansing, Michigan, Mr McNair, devised an electric powered movable pen to pasture sheep in lucerne fields. The pen, 15 feet square, travels about two feet per hour across the pasture, switching directions after a month to cover the entire field. Sheep adapt to the moving pen, eating fodder as it advances while remaining calm and gaining flesh. Also noted are Samoan cattle, small asiatic stocky animals averaging 100 pounds for females and 200 pounds for males with long horns and reddish mouse color.
