Mrs Schum Narrowly Escapes After Wagon Runaway
Mrs Simon Schum and her young daughter rode home in a wagon when the team bolted. The mother fell from the wagon and her skirts tangled in the front wheel, pinning her as a passerby halted the frightened horses. She suffered bruises but the child was uninjured.
