Sam Bagby surrenders to local officers after shooting Marve Alberty six miles east of Stillwell Oklahoma. Bagby says Alberty attempted to draw a revolver while riding in a buggy with Roscoe Rider and Henry Potts, and he fired in self defense hitting Alberty in the face. Alberty survived though injury severity unknown.
