Shocking Death of a Brakeman Near Depot
John Fox a brakeman from Pittsburg Kansas was killed yesterday morning near the depot. He slipped on ice while walking on a refrigerator car, fell between cars, and the wheels passed over him, amputating his right arm and mangling the left. The body was sent to Monett Missouri and his mother in Springfield Missouri was notified.
