London January 7. Sir Edward Grey said if Turkish delegates hesitate to resume negotiations, Europe’s great powers may intervene. He told the House of Commons that London ambassadors have been considering joint action to restore peace, but declined to detail plans as the situation is delicate.
Senator Hoke Smith of Georgia will unfold a plan to reorganize the Senate to Governor Wilson. Smith will explain the insurgent scheme to end the seniority rule in committee makeup. Wilson supports the insurgent cause and has answered over fifty thousand letters since his election, spending more than one thousand dollars on postage.
Herbert S. Hockly learned today that each of the other thirty two dynamiters has signed. A deputy warden said the union is not seeking his release. Dr William Elva Green a prominent Arkansas physician shot himself at his home 1114 West Capitol Avenue Little Rock dying instantly.
