More Indictments AGAING! LewiS Indicted for a Third Time
St. Louis Mo Dec 22 Edward G Lewis mayor of University City pyromoter of varying enterprises was indicted for a third time on using the mails to defraud The alleged offense occurred July 27 1910 when Lewis asked stock holders to surrender stock and notes and take debenture bonds of the Lewis Publishing company Also indicted were former Congressman Harry M Coudrey and Harry B Gardner on a charge of mail fraud in connection with stock sales in Continental Life and International Fire Insurance Companies The grand jury contrasted with the last and quashed indictments against six other officials while naming several bank and stock figures in Missouri and looking into the insurance cases The report also notes racing Lyric events and local social and business notices including a wedding and shifts in utilities and personnel
