Juror vanishes amid Hyde Swope murder trial in Kansas City

A juror Harry Waldron fled from the hotel and disappeared after last being seen Sunday night. If not found by tomorrow the remaining eleven jurors will be discharged. Court officials fear self harm. prosecutors suggest he escaped due to family distress. The Hyde trial at the Swope case continues under judge Porterfield.

Death of Dr Blake Williams in Chicago

The late Rock correspondent reports the death of Dr Blake Williams at his Chicago home after a distinguished medical career. He was the younger of seven children of the late A B Williams of Washington Arkansas, and among his siblings only Bob remains. Williams formerly served as assistant superintendent of the Arkansas Insane Asylum before becoming a psychiatrist in Chicago. His Fayetteville friends mourn the loss as a gifted physician. The notice also mentions local ads for framing materials and decorative goods at McAdams Drug Store and in Fayetteville shop promotions by Mesdames Manning and Southwith respect to embroidery and accessories.
