He served as State Commissioner of Mines Manufactures and Agriculture, later director of the Experiment Station, and represented Arkansas at major expositions. Survived by wife Ashton Vincenheller daughter in law Mrs Dengler and three granddaughters. Funeral at Methodist church with Rev M N Waldrop and pallbearers.
