Mexico crisis delays occur as Huerta dispatches a new note to Lind delaying President Wilsons planned one o clock address to Congress. Officials hold plans awaiting disclosure of contents and details on Hueertas missive.
Mary J. Davis, mother of condemned Omer Davis, circulated a Governor petition to commute the death penalty to life imprisonment. She walked with her 16 month old child to Mountain Home to gather signatures, but the petition vanished from a bed the next morning. A violin magazine article led with the lead that month.
