A Mexico City report says Pascual Orozco and other peace commissioners were slain at Huatal Guerrero by Zapatistas. Federal soldiers were told that Emiliano Zapata killed Orozco and his companions with his own hand. The elder Orozco has been reported dead many times before.
Wilks Requisitioned to Return From Tennessee
Governor Hays issued a requisition on Tennessee for Bert Wilkes wanted in Union County on pistol carrying charges. Wilkes is jailed in Jackson, Tennessee, with Deputy Sheriff John A. Cobb named to return him to the state.
