Private Funeral for Mrs Wilson

Buyers Week in Portland Opens For Out of Town Merchants

Hundreds of proprietors and representatives from Washington Oregon Idaho Northern California and western Idaho gathered in Portland for Buyers week to stock up for the fair trade. Merchants and jobbers arranged stocks and prices to attract visitors. The idea originated by the Jobbers and Manufacturers Association and 25 000 invitations were sent out reflecting last year purchases by visiting merchants exceeding 100 000 dollars.
