Cantata The Coming of the King by Buck Performed at College Chapel
The U S Choral Union presented Dudley Buck cantata The Coming of the King last Sunday December 17 in the College Chapel to a packed house. Soloists Miss Mary Miller suffered a cold yet sang splendidly along with Miss Bernice and Miss Anita Opperman. Mr Harry Carmelite gave a strong throughout performance and Miss Anita Opperman charmed the audience with a rich mellow voice. Prof A Craig pleased as always though his voice was in poor condition. The chorus sang with fine insight and Miss Ruth Searles played piano with excellent work.
