Phelps-Dodge Railroad Sale Reshapes New Mexico System

Arizona and Colorado road fight extends to Santa Fe injunction

Mewrrn C Sroufe C E McConnell and B W Rtter left Durango for Santa Fe to push the Arizona and Colorado rail line case against the Rio Grande. A temporary injunction was granted, with arguments to decide permanence. Stoufe says Phelps Dodge sold surveys to Denver and Rio Grande, but Arizona and Colorado will still build, spending about 100000 on surveys.
