Two Farmington bands merge amid town band turmoil
A long account details a split between Farmington musicians over leadership, instruments, and a proposed consolidation. After disputes involving Lemley Miller and Butler, two bands initially formed a unified group under Domatti, but tensions led to infighting, instrument seizures, and a dramatic move toward a single band backed by local business men. Public and private disputes shadow the process as practice nights, leadership questions, and legal threats surface.
