Improvements at Kimbeto trading post and water well

C C Pinkney reports Agent Stacher is adding improvements at the Kimbeto trading post. A 650 foot deep well yields water within 150 feet of the surface and of excellent quality. A 16 hp pump irrigates one mesa as a test for future settlement. Permanent buildings rise, brick kiln soon, and a new school building may follow. A four room cottage police and interpreters quarters barn and dipping tank at Kimbe to are occupied. The coming year promises more improvements.
