Cross Section Survey Finishes For Southern Pacific Rail

Engineers Griszard and Sparke completed cross section work between Farmington and Gallup for the Southern Pacific. Trains could reach Farmington in fifteen months, with plans to secure right of way from the reservation line to the Rio Grande tracks. Funeral for Mrs Wm Ivy Follows Mine Incident

The funeral of Mrs. Wm Ivy, killed near Silverton last Saturday, was held at the Methodist church and she was buried in Farmington cemetery. She died from injuries after a fall in the compressor building at the telescope mine near Chattanooga, aged about twenty five, leaving a husband and two children.
