Tonight includes lantern processions, a motor boat parade, a reception ball, and fireworks. Officials warn the fair may not reopen next year due to finances and delayed completion.

U S army and navy officers visit Philadelphia to watch football. Mrs Louise Taft near death in Worcester as Secretary Taft speeds toward Moscow. Frank A Kemp in Denver reports on oil strikes in Oklahoma with Greenpool Tulsa District highlighted as a major producer.
Washington reports a special senate committee recommended immediate prosecution of about six prominent Oklahoma residents for allegedly defrauding Kickapoo Indians of lands. Senators Tener and Curtis traced witnesses in Oklahoma Texas and Mexico and urged appointing a special attorney to lead the case with President Roosevelt likely to approve.
Bids closed today at the secretary of the treasury for a 50.6 million dollar bond issue. The 2 percent bonds dated August 1 1906 pay quarterly interest and redeemable in gold coin after ten years with thirty year maturity. Denominations include 20 and 100 and larger registered amounts. Banks may use as security for circulating notes and for public deposits on national banks. Successful bidders will be notified after examination and must pay accrued interest from August 1906 to November 1 1907.
Guthrie Oklahoma November 30 1907 In response to Governor Haskell the Oklahoma Legislature convenes for its first session. The 109 representatives and 44 senators include farmers business leaders and professionals with diverse Indian and mixed ancestry. Major topics include Jim Crow measures voter enfranchisement capitol location and labor issues as Guthrie competes with river cities.
Washington November 30 Admiral Evans who will lead the fleet to the Pacific coast and President Amador of Panama shared honors at a White House reception. The gathering featured a dinner and musical with full dress guests including President Roosevelt Mrs. Roosevelt Amador and Madame Amador. Amador's party will visit Mount Vernon tomorrow aboard the Mayflower.
In Washington on November 30 the trial of Mrs. Annie M Bradley for the shooting death of former Senator Brown of Utah drew a large crowd. Assistant District Attorney Turner and defense counsel Wells presented arguments focusing on legal standards and the mental capacity of Bradley as the proceedings paused briefly when Turner wept.
