Accidental Shooting on School Trip
Last Monday morning at Kirkwood Memorial School in Liberty teachers began a camping trip. Early Tuesday a boy found a rifle in a wagon, cocked it, and a bullet killed one boy and wounded another who was in range. The wounded boy remains in serious condition.

Normal University Attendants Return from Las Vegas
Miss Lena Ricketts returned from the summer term at the Normal University Las Vegas after a profitable two months of study and a pleasant trip visiting an aunt in La Vega. Prof. Jordan, former assistant principal at the Farming ton school, resigned to seek outdoor work next year. Miss Nina White visited friends in western Texas for a few weeks. Mrs. McMasters spent a couple of days in Colorado Springs on the return trip and now stays with Mrs. Bousman in town. Miss Beulah White Odhiatte ford Texas headed home with relatives.
