A man named Uncle Tom Richardson passed W. E. Murray’s home and spoke to a woman in a truck patch he thought was Mrs Murray. She gave no response, he wondered why, then realized it was an unusual woman, and he told himself it must be so.

Lawton Wins Debate Over Elgin In Tense Match

In a Friday night high school debate at Lawton the question of abolishing the trusty system in the state penitentiary was decided two to one in favor of Lawton. Judge J. H. Willhite sided with Elgin. the other two judges from Lawton declined to be named, and the chair lacking after the meeting. The Elgin team comprised Wal Wettengel John Stauffer and Scott Walking with age gaps of 14 and 15. Lawton speakers were John Ferrin Ned Shepler and Leroy Armstrong. total speaking time favored Lawton. The officials limited Elgin rebuttal to five minutes, while Lawton faced no limit on closing remarks.

Trains Resume Full Frisco Service on Schedule
