Frederick Drummond of Ho miny Okla died August 29 1918 and his beneficiaries received a check from Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Co of Milwaukee for 26457.81 for life insurance A 20000 policy issued May 2 1913 with months’ terms and a 5000 policy issued January 13 1897 plus dividends totaling 1157.81 The company’s agent H P Wettengel is now available to recommend the company.

Pie Supper And Debate At Methodist Schoolhouse

The Methodist Sunday school hosts a pie supper at the schoolhouse this Saturday evening. All ladies are asked to bring pies with young girls delivering small pies and older girls placing ribbons to distinguish them. A literary program with a debate songs recitations and readings begins at 8 o'clock to raise funds for the church bell.

Pie on box supper funds school bell for Cena Crawford’s class

Ernest King and Miss Carrie Sanders were riding southeast of Elgin Sunday evening when a frightened horse caused the buggy to overturn. Miss Sanders sustained injuries serious enough to require a physician's visit for relief.
