Entertaining Evening at Miss Wolcott's Home

The Star Class of the M E Church gathered Wednesday at Miss Dott Wolcott's home for an evening of games and songs. A charity raffle with mystery novelties raised funds, as packages sold for 10?2 per item. Refreshments included a course lunch and apples, and guests departed around 12:30 a m praising the hostess.

Double Supper Suspect Faces Lawton Bail Refusal

A young man in Elgin ate two suppers at J F Ballou's on Wednesday and later carried a concealed weapon. Taken to Lawton, he pleaded guilty before Justice Armstrong and was fined 25 dollars plus costs, which he refused to pay, awaiting 25 days in jail. Ballou laments losing his best customer.

Death of Eli Sanderfer in Winona Mississippi Burial Follows

Eli Sanderfer died at 2 o'clock Sunday morning in Winona Mississippi. He was 22, married last September, and recently underwent an appendicitis operation. His mother blamed a prior injury for his death and he was buried the following afternoon.
