Rudolph Kargen, a prominent farmer and insurance agent of Clyde, North Dakota, died at a local hospital early today after a lingering stomach cancer. A longtime North Dakota resident, he was well known in Clyde and vicinity.

In Valley City North Dakota on June 22 Gen Rosalie Jones spoke to about 300 people at an outdoor mass meeting. Mayor Platou introduced her and backed suffrage. Mrs Clara Li Darrow also spoke. A suffrage league was organized with Mrs Mary Deems as president and Mrs Platou as secretary. In Manning another league formed with forty charter members, Miss Pearl Adams elected president, Mrs S Smith secretary, and Mrs J A Palmer treasurer.

Frank Moran of Pittsburgh and Jack Johnson of Chicago meet for twenty rounds under Queensbury rules with Johnson defending the title he won July 4, 1910. Odds favor Johnson three to one. Johnson expects a European tour after the bout and confirms he will receive 30,000 regardless of result.
Minneapolis report describes Mrs. John A. Hoglund and Mrs. Robert Simpson awakening children and fighting attic fire after a lightning strike at Hoglund's home. They used bathrobes for robes and pails of water, keeping flames in check until firefighters arrived. Both women from North Dakota and Minnesota aided in saving the house from destruction.
