Grain rate rulings upheld by Interstate Commerce Commission

The commission ruled grain product rates from Minnesota Dakota and northern Iowa to Atlantic seaboard points via Duluth Superior and Milwaukee were not discriminatory compared with Chicago rates. It also found South Dakota to Omaha rates unjustly discriminatory against Omaha and ordered final adjustments by Sept 1 to ensure Omaha fares are at least 1½ cents per hundred pounds lower than Minneapolis routes.
