Moorhead School Plans Improve Central Building and Additions

The Moorhead school board approved building committee recommendations to enlarge the Central building assembly room to seat forty more pupils, add a third floor recitation room, and relocate the reference library. Exterior work includes concrete sidewalks on the south side of Central and the east side of the Third Ward building. Plans and specs will be secured, with reports to follow. Electric fans may be installed for ventilation.

Cass County Farmers Eye Talk on Clay County Potato Growers

President Huntoon of the Clay County Potato Growers association faced a last minute request from President Gae of the First National Bank in Hunter North Carolina to visit next Thursday and inform Cass County farmers about the potato growers group. He declined due to a prior commitment with the state board and may be replaced by Leslie Welter to travel to Hunter and present the association’s work and seed stock progress.

Barnes Wile Animal Circus Heads to Fargo in June

The Al G. Barnes three ring wild animal circus brings two full performances to Fargo on Thursday June 20. The show features 936 trained animals including elephants, leopards, tigers, pumas, bears, jaguars, hyenas, and Siamese elephants, with 28 railroad cars and 300 staff. G.
