On June seven the North Coast Limited eastbound on the Northern Pacific was robbed near Bearmouth Montana. Three dynamite blasts wrecked the express car and killed the engineer in a struggle with the bandits. The rear brakeman relayed the halt, a Missoula special was dispatched, and bloodhounds were sent to the scene. Two robbers fled into the mountains as authorities scour the area for them.
