Mayville announces a series of ceremonies beginning June 18 at 3 30 p m with a baccalaureate address by Prof Melvin Aannon from the University of North Dakota at Reinhart's Opera House. Middletown New Jersey June 15 an automobile carrying Mr and Mrs Richart Sayer of Englewood and their two sons was struck by a Erté train near Goshen both occupants were instantly killed and their sons were injured the Sayer family were en route to their summer camp Mr Sayer was president of a local company the family trip ended tragically as the train struck the auto.

Detroit resident Herman Wandrel, 4, was shot and killed by Williston Marshal Markel while resisting a freight-train boarding near Culbertson Montana. Wandrel and a companion rode east in a Boxcar and demanded men leave the car before the shooting occurred.
