Equity International with capital of 50000 is authorized by the state banking board and will operate in Fargo. The bank plans quarters on the second floor of the new building at Roberts street and Second avenue north, with three prominent Equity movement backers among its incorporators. Officers include C J Lee, Paul Havens, L B Platou, E A Bowman, and B May, with formal organization and officer elections pending. Largest Band of Villa Followers Routed in Dashing Fight
Field Headquarters, General Pershing, wheless via Columbus, June 13. Twenty troopers of the Thirteenth cavalry under Captain Rethers delivered the finishing blow to the largest Villa band in Chihuahua in a daylight fight. Twenty five bandits were routed, three killed, several wounded, and all their horses and mules captured along with rifles and ammunition. The Americans pursued them to a canyon at daybreak, charged within 200 yards, and routed them in three minutes after taking cover. They returned, salvaged the Mexican beef and coffee, and had breakfast.
