Chicago June 13 The General Federation of Women's Clubs endorsed the principle of political equality for women ending a twenty year fight to remove constitutional barriers. Mrs EG Dennison of San Francisco led the resolutions. Miss Lutie E Stearns and Miss Carrie Chapman Catt spoke amid emotion. The vote carried, tears were shed, and the Battle Hymn of the Republic rose in the gallery. The resolution urged moral support for political equality.
