Anderson will plead tomorrow in Fargo murder case
Anderson, charged with the murder of EB Funk, former cashier of the First National Bank of Washburn, is arraigned and will enter his formal plea tomorrow at 9 o clock in Crawford's court. The trial is expected to be lengthy and costly with about 100 jurors summoned, many disqualified, and several venues to empanel a jury. Anderson appeared unmoved and has local sympathy due to lifelong residence and friendships. Prosecution will be led by Aubrey Lawrence with help from Jones of Rock, longtime Funk family friend. Also reports the Tri-State Postmasters convention in St Paul with large North Dakota representation and an address by Fargo Postmaster H C Plumley on efficiency in the Mail Service.

Water rates will rise 5 percent to cover increased station costs, effective immediately.

Four dead, two injured, one missing after a boiler explosion on the steam barge E M Peck unloading coal at Pugh docks Racine harbor.
