North Dakota readers are promised the Ancient Arabic Order Nobles of the Mystic Shrine will stage the grandest ceremonial to date in Fargo tomorrow. Potentate F. L. Gage and the divan prepared weeks in advance with plans for a city parade and structured events to honor 500 nobles and 50 novices at El Zagal Temple.
The report notes Villa forces defeating Carranza troops and capturing Silao with supplies. It quotes an international relief committee appeal pleaded through the Brazilian minister seeking U S aid as Mexico faces exhausted government stocks and a crippled railway line.
President Wilson spent the day drafting a new note to Germany. The document asserts the Lusitania was peaceful and unarmed and seeks Germany’s future conduct toward unarmed passenger ships, amid Count Bernstorff’s visit and ongoing efforts to enforce international law.

London reports definite news that after a three week siege the fortress of Przemysl in Galicia has fallen to Austria. The Russians held the fortress for about 70 days despite heavy artillery from Austro German forces. The seizure ends a key threat against Cracow and marks a major Galician campaign milestone.
Admiral Dewey announced Major General George Barnett as ex officio member of the Navy general board. Three rear admirals and other officers were named to advise on naval strength and Marine Corps affairs in Washington on June 3.
