Wheat Slump Hits Chicago Prices After Rains
Chicago dispatch reports a sharp wheat drop on the board of trade as rains end a drought threat in Kansas and Nebraska. Prices briefly fell by 2 1/4 to 2 3/4 cents per bushel with corn down about 3 cents. Similar selling followed in Minneapolis as Kansas and Nebraska conditions spurred heavy orders.

Warren Detroit car to establish Fargo state branch
Fargo will gain a Warren Motor Co state branch next week with Henry Bonde as state agent. The local Bonde Co will handle the Warren-Detroit automobile, a well known Michigan city product, and Bonde expects Fargo to become the distributing point for the entire state. In Youngston on June 1 a fire destroyed the entire business section of Bandy Lake, Pa, with losses about $100,900. The blaze started in a smoke filled shed near a fivery barn, caused by cigarettes left burning. Fire officials say smoking at the barn contributed to the disaster.
