Severe rain wind and lightning struck Lima Ohio at 7 yesterday morning igniting an oil well at Brotherton. Fire consumed 24000 barrels in tanks, destroyed machinery, and threatened the railroad bridge. Later a gas works fire burned 1200 barrels more oil as smoke drifted southeast. Officials estimate losses around 35000 dollars.
