Ten Mile Race Ends Fair as Nellie Burke Wins

Minnesota Wheat and Other Crops Yield Report

United States Commissioner N H W Young reports Minnesota wheat acreage at 2,571,647 with 14.96 bushels per acre and an estimated yield near 36.55 million bushels after storm damage. Oats cover 923,466 acres 12 percent higher with 40.14 bushels per acre and about 35.16 million bushels, rye 30,095 acres at 48.45 bushels yielding 521,382, barley 291,157 acres at 25.99 yielding 1,287,423 bushels. Corn shows central promise if frost delays.

Arrests in Girgenti Province Over Bribery Crimes
